Contribute to DEAM

Financial Donations

DEAM buys many canned fruits and vegetables from the Atlanta Community Food Bank at pennies on the dollar, so financial donations are always greatly appreciated to help fund these purchases and maximize the benefit of your donation dollars.

Financial Donations are always much needed and greatly appreciated. In addition to helping stock the food pantry, DEAM relies completely on your contributions to fund financial aid for prescriptions, prevention of loss of water, gas and electricity services.

DEAM is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity so all contributions are tax deductible.

How DEAM Donations Fight Hunger and Homelessness

DEAM donations fund food and financial contributions directly to Decatur-area residents to prevent homelessness and hunger.

$1 will buy six cans of soup and vegetables, enough to feed one hungry senior citizen for 1.5 days
$5 dollars will buy peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, milk and vegetables, enough to feed one mother and child for three days
$15 will provide complete meals and basic toiletries for family of four for three to four days
$25 will pay for three months' prescriptions for critical conditions such as diabetes, heart conditions
$75 will pay a past-due gas or electric bill, so a family does not have heat cut off this winter

A High Percentage Of Your Donation Reaches People

At DEAM, we strive to help qualified clients move from a place of need to one of independence.

Eighty-five percent of every dollar donated to DEAM goes to serving clients. The remaining 15% covers operating expenses. You can be assured that any monies donated to our ministry are used efficiently and effectively to benefit those in need.

Resources for Clients = 85% and resources for Administrative Costs = 15%
